There Are Many Ways to Support the Museum
The history of Middlesex County belongs to all of us, and preserving it is truly a community effort. Whether you have time to volunteer, family stories to share, historical photographs tucked away in an attic, specialized knowledge, or the ability to make a financial contribution, you can help ensure that our county’s rich heritage is preserved and shared for future generations.

Volunteer Your Time
Help bring history to life by sharing your talents. Volunteers assist with exhibit design and maintenance, educational programs, museum tours, research projects, genealogy assistance, artifact cataloging, collections care, special events, photography, technology, and administrative support. Whether you can volunteer once a month or several days a week, there is a place for you.
Become a Museum Advocate
Help spread the word by attending programs, inviting friends to events, following us on social media, becoming a member, or introducing others to the Museum. Community awareness is one of the most valuable ways to support local history.
Share Middlesex History
Many of the Museum’s most treasured collections come directly from local families. Consider sharing historic photographs, letters, diaries, maps, newspapers, military records, business documents, family histories, or recorded memories. You can also participate in our oral history program by preserving stories that might otherwise be lost. While our space for physical artifacts is limited, we welcome discussions about potential donations that fit our collection and mission.
